Stacy was born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She attended UCLA and earned her BS in physiological science in 2000. Stacy received her doctorate in physical therapy at USC in 2007.
Stacy played both, varsity basketball and volleyball, in high school and participated in a variety of club sports while in college. Despite undergoing multiple knee surgeries, she maintains an active lifestyle by playing with a club basketball team, surfing, rock climbing, and kickboxing. Stacy has also coached a variety of youth basketball teams and clinics throughout the years.
In addition to her physical therapy experience Stacy has also worked with Loyola Marymount University’s athletic teams. Stacy’s love for sport and passion to help people has brought her to northern California to work at the Sports Medicine Center for Young Athletes. Stacy draws on her different experiences, as a patient and a clinician, to relate to her patients and to return them to function in a safe and effective manner. She has also participated in community outreach programs that perform general health screens for children, as well as, providing education on the importance of exercise.
